MARION, Ohio (October 21, 2013) — Deb Ralph was recently named Assistant Manager, Human Resources at Sims Brothers Recycling. She reports to Don Harper, VP of HR. The announcement was made by Gary Sims, president and CEO.
Ralph's responsibilities include interviewing and coordinating all temporary employees, new associate orientation and all employment record keeping. She plans special events for customers and associates, coordinates company promotions, and manages the company fitness center as it relates to the associate Health Reimbursement Account wellness incentive program. In addition, she is also in charge of the Sims Rewards or Sammy Saver program and prizes.
With over ten years' experience in the banking industry, Ralph joined Sims Brothers in 2005 as a receptionist. She quickly moved into accounting, specializing in the firm's Honda account. For the past three years she has served in the HR department as Administrative Assistant.
"Deb has been a high-profile, key assistant who has earned the respect of employees and management over the course of her career at Sims Brothers," said HR VP Harper. "She is a hard worker who relishes new challenges and learns fast. Her leadership skills greatly benefit Sims Brothers and strengthen our ability to meet the needs of our customers," added Harper.
